2024

At this point all riders accepted into the program have been confirmed. We had an unusually high number of applications this year, and only had 4 available spots for new members.

For those that submitted applications and did not get in this year:

You will be placed on the waitlist. In previous years, we’ve been able to get many riders into YRDP via the waitlist. It it quite common that we will need substitutes during the season, and it’s a great way to get introduced to the program. It also helps when applying in future years as one of the considerations is whether or not you’ve been on the waitlist and /or substituted for YRDP clinics.

Thank you very much for applying. Your support and interest in eventing and the YRDP community is a big part of what makes the program successful.

Eligibility

  • Current USEA member

  • Rider to have completed a recognized event

  • Junior or Young Rider (21 or under this calendar year)

Cost

  • $1,400 for clinics plus $160 stabling at all venues. $1,560 USD total.

  • Checks made payable to YRDP

Registration - CLOSED FOR 2024

  • Opening date: March 30, 2024

  • Closing date: April 19, 2024

  • Complete application, plus full payment, signed release forms, and coggins

    (those not accepted into the program will have their checks shredded.

  • If you are on the sub list, you will be paying the rider whose spot you are taking directly.
